(I love pretty much anything by Tim Burton, and I also love the very old Disney cartoons...like Sleeping Beauty and Snow White.) :)

Also, kind of a fun fact: one of the songs that will appear on my forth coming disc was inspired by the movie "Edward Scissorhands". The song is sung from the perspective of Winona Ryder's character "Kim", and how she remembers Edward as an elderly lady. She knows that when it snows, Edward is still alive, and that he is responsible for the snow.

The song is called "Winter Blossom".

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

New Moon movie post now commencing. :)

Ok, so New Moon was incredible and heart wrenching and beautiful. I loved it. New Moon is definitely the most depressing book of the series, and has always been my least favorite as it was such a downer- but the movie actually gave me a whole new appreciation for the story. I thought all of the actors played their parts perfectly, and I was particularly proud of Taylor Lautner for all of the effort he put into the role of Jacob. Sometimes it's tough to remember how young Taylor is, so all that work and dedication to the role is really quite impressive, especially at his age. That being said, I'm forever an unwavering Cullen fan, and cannot be coaxed over to the wolf side for anything. :D

I think that people who are a fan of the books will definitely love the movie. However, I'm not sure how people will like the story line if they haven't already read the books, and know where the plot goes from this point on; not because the story isn't good, but because I'm too biased to imagine seeing the film without knowing all the details from the book. All I can say is that I think everyone involved did a fantastic job, and I was not one bit disappointed.

If you haven't already, go read the books (they truly are an addicting read- you won't be sorry) and then go see this movie...so you can appreciate the attention to detail that was paid in translating the story to film, and so you have a lot better understanding of each character and why the situation has become what it is in New Moon. :)
i went to watch it yesterday, loved it :D
I saw "Drag me to hell" and it's great... it's funny and scary at the same time.

Another bizarre movie by Sam Raimi, really cool. I recommend it ;=)
I love Cinema!

I'm always changing my favourite movie all the time XD

Right now my fav is a french movie called "Le Fabuleux Destin D'Amélie Poulain", it's very funny, about a girl that watches the smallest details in life and tries to make people's life better through them :)
That is a BEAUTIFUL movie Mafalda- you have excellent taste. :D
I looooove Tim Burton and Baz Luhrmann movies, especially Moulin Rouge, Australia, and the Corpse Bride. Any musical like Chicago and the Phantom of the Opera is awesome too. The Underworld movies and others like that are greeeeeeeat. The classic Disney movies are far better than the junk coming out now, and I will always have a soft spot for the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Just as long as it isn't Hannah Montana and stuff it should be good. Also a Starwars and Lord of the Rings fan lol. Give me Sean Bean, Jonhny Depp, Helena Bonham Carter, or Ewan McGregor and I will be happy. Sweeney Todd ftw!!! Sorry for rambling people :)
