Raven Quinn is a 25 year old singer/songwriter based in Los Angeles, CA. A limited edition promo version of her debut album, the self titled "Raven Quinn" has just been made available online via BSI, before it is released to physical retail outlets (http://store.ravenquinn.net) and will be released digitally worldwide on Quinn's birthday, March 4th 2010 via all major digital music retailers (iTunes U.S., iTunes Australia/N.Z., iTunes Canada, iTunes UK/ European Union, iTunes Japan, iTunes Mexico, MySpace Music, Rhapsody, Napster, eMusic, IMVU, Amazon/ Amazon UK, Lala, Shockhound, Amazon On Demand, LimeWire Store, Nokia, Zune).

Starting in late 2006, Quinn began writing and demoing songs with producer Bruce Witkin, which formed the very early beginnings of her self titled debut. Shortly after beginning their collaboration, Witkin was unexpectedly called away to London, UK to produce vocals for longtime friend Johnny Depp for Tim Burton's film Sweeney Todd.

With Witkin away on extended leave due to filming schedules, Quinn continued to write and was eventually encouraged by friend and mentor Dolores O'Riordan (voice of The Cranberries) to continue her progress with producer Dan Brodbeck, who to date, has produced both of O'Riordan's solo albums ("Are You Listening?" and "No Baggage"). This new collaboration proved to be quite a musical match, and the project was continued through to its completion in 2009.

The songs which appear on the disc, penned by Quinn and Brodbeck, range from dark and brooding goth rock tracks to light, ethereal, and angelic ballads. The album takes the listener on a personal journey through Quinn's psyche, and vividly illustrates the darkness and the light that each of us experience in life and that we all harbor inside ourselves.

In addition to Quinn's strong and passionate vocals, the album features the incredible musicianship of George Lynch (Dokken, Lynch Mob, Souls of We), Josh Freese (Nine Inch Nails, A Perfect Circle, Poe) Blair Sinta (Alanis Morissette), and Aaron Embry (Jane's Addiction, Daniel Lanois).

Legendary music trade Hits Magazine has praised Quinn for bringing "an edge to the singer/songwriter genre", dubbed her a "rock goddess" and states that she is "an artist to watch in '09/10."
